classical studies

We believe that Classical instruction provides the best foundation in technique, tone production, theory, artistry, and overall musicianship.  A strong and thorough foundation allows the musician to explore any avenue of musical style that he/she desires.  Students who continue with their Classical studies, even while pursuing other styles, generally develop an appreciation for the complexity, difficulty, and expressiveness of  Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th Century compositions. 

Classical-based instruction is offered in piano and guitar.
