SCOTT WOLF
Scott Wolf is being widely recognized for his versatility as a performer, teacher, and arranger. Scott has received his Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California, where he studied classical guitar with renowned pedagogue and Los Angeles Guitar Quartet member Scott Tennant. He earned a Master of Music from New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Eliot Fisk and received his Bachelor of Arts at UC San Diego with Dr. Randy Pile.
A frequent competition prizewinner, Scott won first prize in the Donald Miller Concerto Competition in 2009 and was awarded the "Latin American Prize" at Boston GuitarFest 2007 for his fiery interpretation of Latin American and Spanish music. Shortly after, he released a solo album of Latin-American music entitled Un Viaje al Sur (A Journey South). He also studied flamenco guitar extensively in Spain and in the U.S. with Grisha Goryachev and Adam Del Monte. He has since been a guest instructor of flamenco guitar at the Guitar Foundation of America Regional Symposium and the Loyola Marymount International Guitar Festival. WENDY CASTELLIANOS
Wendy is a versatile dancer and choreographer with Classical, Modern/Contemporary, Jazz, Flamenco and Latin Dance training. She is a graduate of UCLA’s Department of World Arts and Cultures where she studied dance and multi-disciplinary stage production. Wendy has also studied in Spain at the legendary Amor de Dios studio in Madrid and in the South of Spain in Sevilla and Granada.
Originally from Los Angeles, Wendy has performed in the most prominent venues in the city. From theater to the "Tablao," Wendy regularly graced the stages of El Cid, Tapas and Cafe Sevilla, she has danced in the legendary Forever Flamenco series at The Fountain Theater, danced for Los Angeles Opera at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion between 2006-2019, choreographed and danced for Opera Santa Barbara for their 2016-2017 season, has been a Flamenco showgirl at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and toured with Flamenco Express aboard the Caribbean Princess.For more detail visit her website at: www.laflamenco.com |
