International guitar festival

Performances:
The European-American Youth Guitar Orchestra.Open to public. Free admission.

- Saturday July 29, at 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Santa Barbara, 949 Veronica Springs Rd,

- Sunday July 30, at 7:00 pm at Bethania Lutheran Church of Solvang, 621 Atterdag Rd, Solvang, CA  93463 (http://www.bethanialutheran.net), see the map below. Open to public. Free admission.

9:30 am- Four students will perform music during the 9:30 am worship service at Bethania Lutheran church, Duo, Marie Bauer and Emma Radsch will perform Merengue by Alfonso Montes, Katharina Meissner will play Carlo Domeniconi Koyunbaba ( Moderato) and Evelyn Nguyen will play Guardame las Vacas by Alonso Mudarra

10:00 -12:00- Master classes in our piano studio. Auditors (observers) are welcome. Fee for auditing is $10. see below for details.

 3:00 pm- Solo performances in various locations such as Solvang Coffee Company coffee shop, Book Loft and other locations throughout Solvang.

7:00 pm- The 38+ member Guitar orchestra (a collaboration of Stuttgarter Musikschule (Stuttgart, Germany), Pasadena Conservatory of Music and Song In My heart Guitar Studio in Santa Barbara and SYV.) will perform at Bethania Lutheran Church of Solvang, 621 Atterdag Rd, Solvang. Open to public. Free admission.

Master classes:
  • Master classes with Internationally recognized guitar performing artist & teachers. Sunday 10-12, in Solvang at Song In My Heart Piano Studio, located in Frederik’s Court, 485 Alisal Rd., cross streets are HWY 246 & Alisal road.
  • Each masterclass is one hour, and 4 students. Each Student plays one polished piece for the master teacher. Teacher spends 15 minutes with each student. Each student observes the 3 other lessons (learning through observation). Auditors (observers) are welcome. Fee for auditing is $10.
