Missing and Rescheduling Lessons
Regular, weekly lessons are essential to the consistent progress of the student.
Children (and adults) thrive on a dependable schedule. The planned weekly
lesson effects the rhythm of the week, and the student will prepare accordingly.
That being said, we understand that there are times when adjustments must be made.
While we are willing to occasionally reschedule lessons, make-up lessons are not
guaranteed (except in the case of illness), but are according to the availability of the
teacher if advance notice is given. “No shows” are not eligible for make-ups. Please contact
your teachers' CELL PHONE to ensure that they receive the message. Keep in mind that no
credit is given for missed lessons that cannot be rescheduled, except in the case of extended
illness.
When a teacher spends more time rescheduling lessons than in artistic pursuits,
the quality of teaching suffers. Thank you for your consideration!
